Gstaad is the place where us mountain farmers chat to Hollywood stars about the weather and serve hearty food and drink to royalty at tables made of rough wood.
Cheese production in our region was first mentioned in a document almost 500 years ago. The present-day Molkerei Gstaad dairy has been at the heart of economic and social development in the region since 1931, both as a company and as a local farmers’ association. We process the milk from our proud Gstaad cows, trade goods from north to south and from east to west, and offer the same service to everyone alike, whether local friends and family or the international upper crust and award-winning restaurateurs.
